Doug Hill has spent his lifetime creating. Born in Deephaven, Minnesota in 1953, Doug’s experience in construction started in his teens painting houses and helping local contractors. Through his early years, he experienced jobs in machining and construction. Moving to California in 1976, he teamed up with local professionals and further honed his craft in cabinet making, custom woodwork, construction and property maintenance as well as running his own business. In 1986 the family moved to Washington where Doug opened Hill Woodworking and has been building ever since.
Steven Hill grew up learning about woodworking. Graduating Inglemoor High in 2007, he went to work as an Electrician logging over 3000 working hours and taking two years of Electrical theory and code study at CITC in Bellevue, Wa. In 2009 Steven joined the Hill Woodworking team. He has recently completed an ATA Construction Management degree at Edmonds CC’s Construction Management Program and plans on pursuing a BA Architectural Design Degree at UW Seattle Fall 2017.
